SUMMARY:Memorial Day Good Turn
DESCRIPTION:Memorial Day Good Turn is the longest-running and biggest Scout service project on Oahu. Scouts decorate every grave at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific with flags and flower lei. \nParking available @ Stevenson & Lincoln schools from 10am-3pm. Due to an event conflict\, parking is not available at the schools this year. Please park in the surrounding neighborhood. Approx. 1 mile walk to Punchbowl; for those units with buses\, bus turnaround will be available just outside the cemetery. \n10:30 AM – Meet at Lincoln Elementary\n10:45 AM – Hike up to memorial\n11:30 AM – Meet at pack meeting area in memorial if going on the group walk through\n12:30 PM – Pack check-in\n1:00 PM – Memorial service\n1:30 PM – Decorate graves\nEstimated end between 2:00 and 2:30 \nOpen to all scouts\, leaders\, and parents.
